Monique  Robitaille, RRT, E- RYT 200, RYS, YACEP
black and white headshot fitproMonique is a Registered Respiratory Therapist, a member of International Fit Bodies Inc..  Her career has touched upon all facets of health and wellness. As a medical professional, she was active in acute pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation and designing exercise programs for special population groups.  Monique’s experience includes professional belly dancing,  and numerous certifications and training  including IDEA group, ACE personal training, Tri-Plane Pilates, TRX,  Advanced Pilates and Apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair, Step and Ladder barrels, Ped-a-pul and Arm chair),  FiTour Aqua, Les Mills Bodypump, Body Training Systems Group Power and PiYo LIVE.  Monique is an E-RYT200 International Yoga  instructor certified through Yoga Alliance with specialties in “Yoga Sweat”, “Yoga for Kids” and “Yoga for Seniors”. She is also certified in myofascial foam rolling.  Her  journey has led to the ultimate understanding of health and wellness….the mind/body connection and it’s ongoing evolution through every stage of life.  Yoga has become her passion and her stabilizing force. Her goal is to create an environment where everyone can feel comfortable exploring their potential while learning to connect to the world within them.

Holly Brooks, RYT 200

077I think that what makes me unique, is that unlike many yogi’s, I knew the first time I hit my mat that I needed to learn as much as I could so I can share this beautiful gift of yoga with others. I enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training six weeks after my first class and received my teaching certificate in Sept. 2014. I currently teach Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Classical (all levels).  I am also a licensed Broga Instructor (Yoga designed by Men for Men, but open to everyone!).  I truly enjoy living a healthy, balanced lifestyle and it gives me great joy to share it with others; so much so, that I pursued a certificate in Personal Training, which I received in October 2015.  In my desire to be a better teacher, a better student, and a better person I am also pursuing a certificate in Holistic Nutrition.  Prior to exploring Yoga, I began my journey on the healthy, holistic lifestyle by obtaining my Master/Teacher certificate in Usui Reiki in 2013.  My approach to Yoga is with the intent of being an inspiration to others (there’s a story behind this…ask me!), to remember to have “an attitude of gratitude” every day, and to continue learning each day (to be a better teacher, a better student, and a better being!). I am so happy to be here, at Bare Urth, with all of these wonderful souls and I’m looking forward to working with you all.  Namaste’.

Karen M. Benezra, DO, 200 RYT

Karen Benezra started practicing yoga when she was pregnant with her first child and working through her Osteopathic Family Practice residency. She found yoga to be grounding during a time of intense stress. She continued with yoga through another pregnancy and another residency, this time in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. She continued to find yoga as an anchor to her mental and physical health. Yoga classes with Monique Robitaille, E-RYT, inspired her to dig deeper into the many limbs of yoga through Vinyasa yoga teacher training in 2016-2017. Since then she has incorporated yoga concepts into her Osteopathic NMM specialty medical practice. Her classes are infused with discussion of body awareness, anatomy, and physiology while trying to return to that root of mindfulness and breath of the yoga teachings.

Diana Locke, RYT 200

2680_1071472784101_6174390_nDiana Locke, RYT 200 is a graduate of the Nataraja School of Yoga’s 200-hour Teacher Training Program in 2010. She is certified through the Yoga Alliance in Hatha style. For Diana, Yoga is a lifelong journey. She continued her education with a Certification in Yin Yoga from Biff Mithoefer.  Yoga has helped her to become more present, more patient, and better able to accept things as they are. In her classes and off the mat, Diana hopes to provide a space for students to tune into their own inner self.  Diana continues to study with teachers like Jacqui Bonwell, Sadie Nardini, Ame Wren and Marc St. Pierre.
